River Surveys
River surveys and topographical surveys are pretty much the same thing with river surveys primary focus being Rivers / Water courses. River surveys can be required for a variety of different reasons, including for the design of vital flood defences. CMS Survey are able to utilise a radio-controlled survey vessel and all the safety equipment required when carrying out surveys on river or water courses. Each site is assessed prior to the survey in order to determine risk, access, health and safety requirements and survey method. On larger rivers, an inflatable vessel can be utilised equipped with the latest satellite positioning system and an echo sounder to determine bed levels.
